You may like to use the ports way:

At the roots prompt in terminal:

# emerge --sync
# layman -S

In case you don't find the overlay 'sabayon' do this:

# layman -f -a sabayon
to install the virtualbox-bin-3.0.0 version

#emerge virtualbox-bin

Accept the license agreement

then load the vboxdriver like:
#modprobe vboxdrv
To use Virtualbox you need to be in the group 'vboxusers'

#useradd -G vboxusers <your user name>

you may also need to specify the modules to be loaded in the start up. To do this edit the file '/etc/conf.d/modules' at root privilege. Add the following lines: ( I presume you have the kernel 2.6.29)
modules_2_6="vobxdrv"
module_vboxdrv_args=""

I guess this should do the trick! ;-)

Thanks.
The #emerge virtualbox-bin failed because of no kernel source.
Then I try
#emerge linux-sabayon-sources

This install the kernel 2.6.30-sabayon sources (mine is
Now the virtualbox installing failed because could not find usable .config in kernel source directory. So i think I should build a kernel. And I'm not familiar with that. (I already try to build some kernel using gentoo, but all of my bulded kernel was some problem with modules, the sound or net, this is why i try sabayon)

I hope I will learn it too, but it's urgent to install vbox3.
Could you please tell me any solution without kernel building?

you do not run emerge linux-sabayon-sources, but only equo install linux-sabayon && eselect kernel set 1, now you remove the kernel with emerge -C linux-sabayon-sources-2.6.30, and install it with equo, you have run this commands by root:
1)equo install linux-sabayon;
2)eselect kernel set 1;
3)emerge -av virtualbox-bin;

Thanks. I installed in this way, but...
after i finished, I add my username to vboxadd group, didn't do any other thing.
And now authentication failed both for me and root.
Then I reinstall sabayon. Do the same things again, and i cant login again.

What could be wrong?

Just to be exact, after install virtualbox I used kuser to add my login name to vboxadd gruop. And the kdesu authentication was ok. But after that i can't login with both my username and root.

Any idea whats going on?

Yeah, I've got an idea. You didn't use the search function, you didn't read wikis, and you most certainly didn't read this.

Not right, i read documentations and i used search actively because I'm a user 0.1.1 and want to improve myself (just this was urgent for me). Btw thanks for the info ;)

Little tip: look in all sheds for the stickies and read those carefully.
Very important: do NOT download packages from the web, use package managers only!
And in your case: best stay off Portage (emerge) until you know what you're doing, stick to Entropy (equo/Sulfur).
Another tip: when doing an equo install or an equo world, always use the --ask option.
One more thing: when equo tells you 'You should run revdep-rebuild now!', IGNORE this and do NOT use revdep-rebuild!
And, as you probably know now, do NOT use Kuser ;)
