you need swap partition at least as big as your RAM to hibernate.

HI...
i reinstalled sabayon 4.0 kde... now i have alloted 2100mb for swap... i have 2gb ram and intel dual core.. and intel mother board... in the power management i get two buttons for suspend and hibernate.. when i suspend , it goes into suspended state.. but when i press any key or mouse it is not restoring.. then i have to switch off and restart... so the saved works get last....also if i press hibernate then the screen goes blank for 2 sec and comes back.. nothing happens.... i don't know what to do... also i tested in the power management.. it said that suspend and hibernate is supported.... so i dont understand what is going on in my system...
