googleearth [Solved]

Postby Pete333 » Tue May 26, 2009 12:41

Hi experts,

I did an "equo world" today and it suggested to remove googleearth. ...I thought there is a new version, so I say yes. ..after all the processing, I type "equo install googleearth" and it found nothing. ..the package no longer exist. ..I tried to use "emerge googleearth" and the installation failed due to unmmatched file size. ...How do I install googleearth now?

thanks.

I also got the file size mismatch message when I first tried to install it via Portage, but Gentoo Bugzilla bug report no. 269178 gives a work-around to enable you to install the latest version, and I have it installed.
