Entropy update for new gnome and kde question

Postby jmm » Wed May 20, 2009 11:28

To get the updated gnome I received a message saying I had to update to Entropy 0.9.3 I beleive???? How do I do this and get gnome update?

Also, is there an easy way to get the kde environment and then choose at login which environment you would like to use for that session? Switch back and forth.

Thanks for the help. Beautiful distro.

KDE option and maximizing 3d capabilities

Postby jmm » Wed May 20, 2009 18:09

Did the graphical install last night. Not the graphical 3d install.

Can someone direct me towards 3d settings I should use or get to maximize the Compiz 3d capabilities?

Also, downloaded gnome, what command would I use to get the KDE environment too? So, at login I can choose between KDE or Gnome.

Thanks for helping newbie.
