Do you get a list of get Os's and the error 29 after you select one? Or does error 29 show up immediately on boot?
Also make a backup of your current config as well before you mess with it too much.
Error 29 sounds like it is usually a disk write error. try removing the "savedefault" lines from your conf.
alternatively you could try using "makeactive" flag as well
aslo your windows section looks a little funny I would make it look like the following:
