Okular doesn't open pdf documents

Hello,

Okular wont open pdf files. It Gives a message: couldn't open file.
Tho, It does open png and jpeg files fine.

Any idea what could be wrong?

If you type the keywords "okular", "pdf" and "file" into the forum's Search box at the top of this page you'll find an answer, as this problem has been mentioned a few times.

run equo deptest.

This is most likely because you are not world updated with entropy and recently poppler got split.
equo update && equo install poppler might fix it right away.
