Rolling release?

Rolling release?

If I stick to binary (non source-based) updates (which I assume I can do by using Entropy), will Sabayon give me a rolling release, as does Gentoo using source-based updates? In other words, if I keep current with updates, can I avoid having to do most version upgrades (e.g. 4.0 to 4.1). Thanks.
