Printer install problem

Hi,

First of all, thanks for making such a good distribution.

However, I can't get my HP printer to work. CUPS returns an error saying "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed".

I installed foomatic using equo, but it didn't fix it.

The printer is a HP Photosmart -c5280.

Did you try using the SL forums Search facility or Google? This seems to be a relatively common problem, solved for some as follows: printer problem /usr/libexec/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed

I had problem with HP1018, got the same error. Installed foo2zjs and then used this:
