Installing Gnome also with KDE....

Hello friends...i am using sabayon 4.0 -r1...since its release,and also used 3.4,3.5,etc..ok...so i am today going to install sabayon 4.1 which has kde...as sabayon has split the desktop environment,i need some gnome apps to run on my pc..and sometimes i just login into gnome,so how should i install the latest gnome,should i download the other dvd too...or can i install it from net..any command...i have a good net connection..plz let me know thanks....anything like: equo gnome..... :D

Is gnome-light means something like light edition or what...i want a full blown gnome installation also...i have no issues with respect to machine..i have a quad core..1tb HD..3 gb ram...Nvidia 9600GT 512mb gddr3...thanks for the reply... :D

It will install all the packages needed to have a default gnome session,
if you want more gnome packages I suggest you to just open up
Spritz and search for gnome or any gnome app you want.

For example if gnome-mplayer insterests you, just search for it.
I suggest you to use equo for installing rather than Spritz, since it is more reliable.

"gnome-light" is just a meta-package, so if there are too few applications for your needs, just add the ones
you are interested in :D

ya...sure...i also use equo...sabayons GUI package manager just freeze....i dont know why...when i install servers or some important stuff...i use emerge...as it compiles it...or just use equo...

Do you use the latest version?
Try to update entropy with:

equo install --ask entropy equo spritz
