I booted up using saybayon 4.1 3d on live dvd on my compaq v6000 all seem to work well apart from wireless is a no go i am hoping after trolling the sites using search engines and so on. how tos there are so many and so may refering to unbuntu but that cold be ok but as it not saybayan i decided ask here.

As i have found to my dissapointment there are many ways and many wrong ways here are the basic specs of my compag

AMD 62X2
2 GIG RAM
NIVIDA CHIPSET VIDEO CARD TOTAL 512 SHARD VIDEO MEM
160 GIG HDD
AND WIRLESS CARD AFTER DOING THE LCONFIG IS BROADCOM 4312

I am hoping that some one can point me in the right direction some websites stat the disto finds it but it has not a guide or a written guide with links if there is one avaiable would be great or can i not do this while using as a live dvd do i have to install first

many thanks in advance i no there is not a lot of info but i will input more if need be.

My experience has been that the live CD does not have wireless support but then upon installing wireless is up straight away with DHCP. Static IP's are a little trickeier.
