Hello, I may to soon install Sabayon (downloading it right now ), and I have an HP Pavilion dv 6910us. I was wondering if all of my drivers are compatible with Sabayon. Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-60 / 2 GHz
Ram: 3 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 7150M
Wireless:Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg

We get questions like this a lot, we really don't know. Only way you can hope to get a decent response is if someone owns that laptop and has experience with it. The great part is, it's a livedvd so you can try it out and see. If you have problems we have cheat codes available.

A more accurate way to show people your hardware is via lspci << that will display nice hardware info

My guess is you'll be fine with the amd, video and wireless.

and I am doing perfectly fine with Ubuntu right now.

Chances are if its working on ubuntu it will also work on sabayon, usually straight away too

Yeah, works fantastic ! I am actually kinda disappointed with Ubuntu now. I booted into the live CD, and instantly, everything worked! I didn't have to scramming for an Ethernet cord at all! and compiz is pre-installed, ready to go! EPIC WIN!!!
