Beryl + Gnome

Hola quisiera saber si alguien tiene beryl en gnome. Porqué traté por todos los medios hacer funcionar y no hay caso. Configuré mi placa de video una Nvidia Geforce 6200 de 256 AGP, me bajé el driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg1.run y lo instalé siguiendo todos los pasos y ni un problema. El tema es que al escribir "beryl-manager" en consola aparece el diamante, configuro y el emerald también y nada, no me toma los cambios.
Estoy usando el ultimo debian, el 4 les dejo aca mi xorg.conf a ver si alguien ve algun error o cree que me falta algo.

Te escribí una chapa pensando que te referías a Sabayon.
Disculpa mi error.

Hay una opción que han sacado para Ubunto llamado Envy, te instala el driver y te configura automaticamente el xorg. Como Ubuntu está basada en Debian pues no sé si te servirá.

Como podrás observar es un paquete de Debian, suerte.

No che, lei lo de envy y solo funciona para el dichoso ubuntu.
Igual gracias, seguiré intentando todo a mano a ver que sale, pero estoy casi segura que el problema es la aceleración gráfica.

tienes driver "nv" .. y cualquier distro que soporte beryl o compiz necesita en las targetas nvidia el driver "nvidia"
y tu lo tienes nv ..
cambialo y ya estara listo

Hola ojala fuese asi de sencillo si es eso ya lo hubiera hecho abrahamtamayo, pero no es tan asi, no puedo levantar la interfaz gráfica cuando añado esto a mi xorg.conf

Cuando las comento entra perfectamente, por suerte todavia no perdi la aceleración gráfica.

Mira tienes una configuracion de pantalla muy rara a mi gusto .. unas resoluciones que podrian dar problemas
Estas es tu configuracion

Como te daras cuenta le he quitado mucha de la paja o cosas inutiles como el driver wacom y otras opciones de configuracion que solo son paja ...
ahora bien como haz instalado el driver .run lo mas recomendable es que pongas en blacklist el driver "nv"
