Entropy v172 sabayon-weekly not avaliable? [Solved]

Postby BoeroBoy » Tue Feb 05, 2013 18:44

Hi
I must be losing my mind. On the road and laptop can't update sabayon-weekly. Tried equo cache clean, equo cache generate (deprecated), removing/re-adding sabayon-weekly repo, mirrorsort, etc. Nothing seems to help. I SSH into my home box and everything works fine with same version of entropy (172), so obviously it's me. equo rescue check shows everything OK. I stopped short of an equo rescue generate, but might be forced to try... I did just have a lockup that required a hard reset. Probable corruption somewhere.

Can anybody provide some insight?

Code: Select all
#equo update --force

Give that a whirl if you haven't.

Nope - same output as regular update. Thanks though.

Re: Entropy v172 sabayon-weekly not avaliable? [SOLVED]

Weird - I finally copied /etc/entropy/entropy.conf.backup over /etc/entropy/entropy.conf and magically equo update cleared everything up. Thanks Sabayon for providing the built-in entropy backup! I'm going to add equo rescue backup to my cron for safety.
