ignore-spm-downgrades? [Solved]

Postby ratcheer » Sun Jul 15, 2012 15:30

After this morning's weekly upgrade, entropy and entropy.conf were upgraded. Afterwards, I ran another upgrade just to make sure everything was operational and in sync. It asked me if I wanted to downgrade the three packages I have installed from Portage.

So, I went to the new entropy.conf to re-enable ignore-spm-upgrades. The parameter is no longer included, Can I add it back on my own and is it still supported? If not, how can I manage this?

Thanks,
Tim

I found out how to do what I need using /etc/entropy/packages/package.mask. I made my additions and re-tested equo upgrade. It is now ignoring my portage packages.

I am sorry I didn't find that earlier, but the wiki was down this morning (for me, at any rate).
