Problems after July 14th update - [Solved]

I just completed the latest update. There are two messages that require attention, but I cannot figure out how to manage them.

The first is an application no longer maintained by this distribution: rtl8192se Firmware. I am told it might need manual review before being removed and to click on the App to expand. It then has "Manual review: rtl8192se Firmware. But when I click on it nothing happens.

The second message tells ne there is one configuration file update that it is extremely important to update before rebooting the system. When I click on "Let me see" it lists /usr/share/config/kdm/._cfg0000_kdmrc and gives me four options: "Edit", "Difference", "Discard", "Accept." If I click on any of these it gives me the message that it cannot do it.

How do I proceed in each case? I'd appreciate detailed suggestions.

Hi there, and welcome to Sabayon.
The first:
"rtl8192se Firmware" is removed from Entropy, and got replaced by net-wireless/rtl8192su-firmware
so you can remove it. See post:

The second:
go to the commandline/terminal, and as root, enter:
equo conf update
The .kdmrc file needs to get updated, but Sabayon doesn't automatically override config files, and want you to manually update them.
