No icons in Entropy

I installed Sabayon 7 on Sunday. I updated the system using Entropy overnight, rebooted this morning, and now when I open Entropy, all the icons are replaced by a red X and the icons for package select are completely gone. I have tried several things, reinstall (to the best of my ability, I am new to this) GTK+ and KDE4, neither of which worked, I have tried changing everything back to defaults in 'system settings' and rebooting, nothing has resolved this so far. I also have a similar problem with chromium that I assume is related, the new tab, and close tab icons have been replaced by red squares.

Please advise.

Has your problem been resolved by now? If so, please mark this thread as [Solved].
If not, could you post some more info, like make and model of your graphics card and what driver you use, and perhaps a screenshot or two.
