Entropy and other programs "disappear" after update.

Hello. I installed sabayon 64G onto my desktop. Everything was running fine and dandy until i ran all the necessary updates that entropy wanted me to update. After the update, when i try to run entropy i can see it come up on the bottom task bar then just disappear. i cant make it come up or anything. it will ask me for the root password on first launch then never come up after that. no matter how many times i try it just blinks on the screen for a second then its gone. the same happens with Compiz. compiz wont even work. Any suggestions?

I suspect you are not fully updated.

equo deptest && equo libtest

you should now be fine.
