Sulfur, low priority to the official mirror

When i trying to set a higest priority to a official sabayon repository, it actually got changed to the lowest. Is that supposed to be?

Also, a cross-view of python entropy sources confirmed my suggestions. But unfortunately, i'm too nooby in python to fix it.
So, could sabayon devs fix it?

How are you trying to set the priority?

Have you used the following command?:

If you are sure it's a bug in the Entropy code then please file a bug report (see the link Bugs at the top of this page). Thanks.

This is what happens when you are not enough paranoid on bandwidth management and monitoring. Especially when you forget that users are lazy, and ignore that consuming bandwidth downloading 10 packages simultaneously from pkg.sabayon.org (our fallback Entropy mirror, main source of fresh pkgs when slave mirrors are still syncing) can have serious impact on our costs.

That's why I get updates from official server. I actually can't wait until the twenty packets will trying to update from mirrors, when i install fresh update. Seems it's more easily to delete all mirrors, except pkg.sabayon.org, only to get fresh update.

In other cases, i will update from mirrors, but i'm too lazy to delete\add\update repo mirrors -_-

entropy.git version of mirrors.py, and some other files does not match with my version...
Can't fix without fresh git. Sulfur console output

Upd: So, while i don't fix it yet, i will download big packages from repo

You're not going to be popular with the developer if you force the official repository to have the highest priority, and you purposely avoid using the mirrors.

you "priorized" the mirror in the repositories.conf file? In Sabayon the first mirror used, is the last in the list...

i also have in mind that you not have a Bug im Entropy, but instead you have problem in python.Is the cause sulfur not opens.

Please, use the normal repository.conf file, or choose, set a mirror nearest to you localization!

The Sabayon mirrors are excelent, updated, fully syncronized
Is better to use the mirrors.
Ex. I lives in Brazil. 3 months ago, i asked Brazilian Universities and asked for nem mirrors,
and the Brazilian mirrors were made...

Now, I use the "normal", "regular" repositories. conf file,normal mirrors, with the Brazilian
Mirrors setted as main mirrors.!

I know that, and agree this.
But using mirrors should not be forcibly, if user choosed pkg.sabayon.org as a primary mirror, it should be used as a primary mirror.
And until it's not fixed, i will use pkg.sabayon.org -_-
