Equo update and repo update.

hello friends..I have installed saayon linux 4.1 with kde 4.2..whenever i install sabayon linux the first thing i do is give the command emerge --sync and get all the list...but while installing packages i use equo to avoid overhead and time...so...everytime equo works with emerge list...but this time when i search any package as emerge --search packagename and try equo install packagename..it does not work..i tried updating repository thru spritz but some packages still dont come...help me out..

You are getting your package managers mixed up.

emerge and portato is for portage. while equo and spritz is for entropy

essentially you didn't update entropy/equo database.

so even if i updated repos in spritz the effect was not seen....thats what my question is.....
