Latest update breaks dolphin and konqueror in root [Solved]

After the latest update to KDE 4.2.3, I can no longer "sudo dolphin" or "sudo konqueror":

Every time I do this, I get a popup error:
"Could not start ksmserver. Check your installation."
After I press okay, my KDE session restarts.

I also tried kdesu and got this error at the bottom of dolphin in pink:
"Could not start process Cannot talk to klauncher: The name org.kde.klauncher was not provided by any .service files."
This does not restart the system, but dolphin doesn't work.

I get the same issues with konqueror as well.

I thought that I may have messed up a configuration file, so I did a fresh install and updated the system again. However, the exact problem remains.

To do this update, I did this:
su root
entered password
equo update
equo install entropy
equo world
equo conf update
-5

I'm now going to do another format and try to update my system through portage instead of entropy. If that doesn't work, I'm going to be very sad.

sudo is for ubuntu, we use "su" or as written above.

If you think its a bug, file a bug report.

If it's only happening to me, I may be wasting the dev's time by filing a bug report. You've confirmed to me that it's not happening to you.

With KDE 4.2.2, everything was fine; it's KDE 4.2.3 that has been plaguing me. I did a format and updated from scratch, and it's still happening. I'm now formating my hard drive, and I'm going to do attempt to do the update with portage instead of entropy to see if that helps.

Its the way you made this topic, your not asking anything, your making a statement and showing steps to reproduce.
Thats good, but something like this belongs in a bugtracker.

Now the only diff we might have is the architecture, i'm on x86_64.

I'm using Sabayon KDE 4.1 x86_64 and kde 4.2.3
I can reproduce the problem.
