I just Reinstalled Sabayon-4 & after Updating Portage & Equo etc I find I cant do a " equo database gentoosync " .
I am getting the error
JASONS-BRAIN jason # equo database gentoosync
bash: /usr/bin/equo: Permission denied.
I have tried with both Root Permissions & user .
Would anyone have an Idea what is causing this.

check the permissions of the file:
/usr/bin/equo
check that it is executable and it has correct permissions.
