Installing Minicom on Sabayon 4 (64-bit)

Postby samael » Wed Jan 28, 2009 17:06

Ok so far I got the file: net-dialup:minicom-2.3-r1~0.tbz2 downloaded and then extracted the files to a folder on the desktop called Minicom. I have then gone into the folder to look around the files contained within and cannot find any instructions or anything to actually make an install file.

Anyone know what I need to do next.

you shouldn't be downloading anything to install, you use the package managers

if you need the package to get on internet:
http://www.sabayonlinux.org/packages/ <<search and download it than use Spritz to install it
