sabayon4x86_64_r1: equo update makes cpu 100%

I just installed Sabayon4x86_64-r1.
I did equo update, at this step '(1/11) Fetching segments...'
my cpu fan start running, and i from 'top' command i found out that pyhton has 100 for %CPU column.

Is this normal?
I have the same experience with Sabayon4x86_64 initial version.
Is there any way to skip fetching segment?
Can manual downloading from repository will fix the problem?

No.
Entropy is a bit of a resource hog at the moment.
We know that and hopefully improve some things in a near future.
