Update problem

I tried to update from my 3.5.1 to the 4 version, following the forum guide. So I did a world upgrade, then updated config files (merge all), then reconfigured GRUB. I get working my WLAN card and my X1950XTX quickly.
All seems to run smooth, but It seems there are many icons and fonts missing... also the artwork seems to be the 3.5.1 one. Gnome is not working (it says the network manager cannot because there are some packages missing). Some screens of my problems are in attachment.

Any idea?

Even Google Earth has problems, and all my programs say that png is not recognized

try reinstalling gtk+ using equo

to fix the artwork:

worked well, but now I'm experiencing further problems... ATI driver doesn't load, Compiz doesn't work, neither google earth. It seems that libGL.so.1 doesn't exist any more. Moreover, at startup I get a message like "KDM fatal error. See logfile or contact system administrator". How to solve?

To solve problems with hardware 3D acceleration, I had to run "nvidia-xconfig" manually, as root (I suppose there is a similar script for ATI or other cards), after reinstalling nvidia-drivers.

Reinstalling artwork and gtk+ solved the problems with icons, emerald, etc.

The "KDM fatal error" seems to appear because it tries to login with "sabayonuser" account (it tries to do that on every following login!).
When upgrading, this user doesn't exist.
Are there any operations that should be done after this auto-login that I have to do manually to fix the situation?

My X1950XTX was initially working... Then after a couple of reboots the libGL.so seems to be disappeared O_O
