Is possible to set locales and languages in Entropy [Solved]

Postby albfneto » Sun Nov 09, 2008 23:07

Is it possible to set the locales, countries and languages for the priority fot pt_BR in Entropy, as I made in Portage?
i want that my system priorize installation of aplications in pt-BR, and if not encoutered ,in pt.
I asked, because my system updated K3B in pt-BR using Portage, and in Portugal pt, when Entropy was used...

Solution.... installing Brazilian Portuguese Language Pack, with equo, solved the problem...

equo / entropy has make.conf and edit it so lingua is pt_BR and it should do the job , just not sure how well it would work as I presume equo / entropy is compiled with default en or en_US but it might just need dependancy check and then install languages if missing for each package not sure here / have not tried it in another language.

This should be enough to fix it for you I hope, check wiki entropy / equo how-to part for correct info.
