Spritz is driving me nuts

Postby PeterP » Thu Oct 16, 2008 19:14

It's been sitting there for days, eating up to 100% CPU and nothing seems to happen.
This is a Conroe E6600 4GB RAM so at this time I think it's safe to assume it isn't really doing anything useful ?
I wish I never used the damn thing, I wish the red exclamation-mark had never been there ..

It shouldn't be running for three days. Could you please provide more information? What were you doing with Spritz? How far into installing things did you get and what were you installing? How many packages? The more info the better.

Regardless of what you were doing, I think it's safe to assume that you're going to need to kill the process.

I would then suggestion updating Spritz via the command line and trying again.

Code: Select all
# equo update
# equo install spritz
# equo update

Then give Spritz another go.
