Spritz resume download ?

Postby WarraWarra » Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:36

Can anyone tell me if there is a resume download fucntion to spritz.
ie:
Downloaded gcc 4.3.1 upto 43mb of 60mb and something made it switch to 2nd server where it started from 0%

Fix:
Maybe it can do a md5 on the partial download and then resume the missing bits on a 2nd server same as what torrent programs does ?

Equo deptest , it does not seem to find the missing or ?? parts I need to fix lib/cpp , is there a way to get it to do a dep -a world or dep -r something ? if that is the correct options .

Sry new to equo and it's options.

Well theres equo install --resume

I know that when you're downloading big packages, they tend to be downloaded from different servers at a time. For example, yesterday I was downloading nexuiz, and it started the download on server # 1, then went to Server #2, and it looked like it had started from 0%, but actually kept going .. I mean the little bar thing that moves when you're downloading stuff, it went back to the beginning, but it was still downloading from where it left off

I don't know, maybe thats what happened to you..

Sorry if this isn't any help. =\

Good Luck
