Cairo-dock-themes package broken [Solved]

Hello,
this message is for package manteiners.

I tried to install cairo-dock along with its plugins and themes.
I saw that, even if I installeda also cairo-dock-themes the only theme available i _Default_.
I tried also to reinstall the package but the result is the same.
So I looked for a cairo-dock-themes package in my system and I found:

/var/lib/entropy/packages/amd64/3.5/x11-themes:cairo-dock-themes-1.5.4.2~0.tbz2

Then I did:

tar tvjf /var/lib/entropy/packages/amd64/3.5/x11-themes:cairo-dock-themes-1.5.4.2~0.tbz2

The result was:

bzip2: (stdin): trailing garbage after EOF ignored

I removed this file and tried reinstalling cairo-dock-themes but no luck.

I think this package is broken in the repository.

It's not broken, it just hasn't been compiled with the other themes USE flags, e.g.

You can request that more theme USE flags are added here https://answers.launchpad.net/sabayonlinux/+addquestion/+login

You'll need to do a quick sign up.

Alternatively, you could use portage too install the themes package (you might have to emerge all three packages to get it to work properly), that way you can control what functionality you desire.

Also the cairo-dock plugins have a lot of USE flags too, you might want to request some of those also

I did it using USE=... and portage.
Before doing it I did a:

emerge --sync &&laymen -S sabayon

And portage told me to:
- Emerge a new version of portage (I did it).
- There were 66 config files to update (after emerging portage 67).
Do I have to do a dispatch-conf and update these files, or it is better to ignore it or Entropy will take care of it and next time I use Spritz those file will get updated?

The combined use of Portage and Entropy is still a little bit confusing me...

You can install them now with entropy (spritz) but update the repositories first!

As a side note i'd recommend not to mix portage and entropy.

So now if I install cairo-dock* from Spritz I get all the features (all USE flegs have been enabled during build)?
And, using Entropy, shall I ignore the updated configuration files pending that Portage reports?

Even if Sabayon people say that Entropy is compatible with Portage I suspected it was not a good idea to use both.

i installed Cairo dock from Entropy, bu the problem is the same. I only found the default theme.
from compatibility between Entropy and Portage, in recent versions of Sabayon, you may consider to use both.
I use entropy for large packs , window systems etc... and i use portage for system files, or for compile portuguese language packs, that entropy contains only english versions,
