How to install updates in newest release?

Hi,

I habe just done the installation of the last Release of Sabayon.
I am new with Sabayon linux. I am not new with other linuxes.

I get a notification that there 32 updates for the system. In which way I do the updates? I tried it with Spritz Update Manager. But I dont find the right buttons.

I want to get the acceleration for 3D nvidia. The nvidia-xserver-setting-button tells me to use nvidia-xconfig. But there is no such procedure.

Hello!

To install the updates:
1. double click the updates icon
2. on the window that pops up press the "load package manager" button.
3. Spritz will load. Click the "Add All" button
4. press: to go to the package queue
5. Click process queue

To set up nVidia 3d:
1. open a terminal
2. type sudo accel-manager
3. select enhanced experience
4. Log out and back in again.

when I start the package queue, then I should accept the nvidia-licence. But I am not able to start something by pressing the accept-button

click on the licence and click accept, then it should show a tick, then you can continue

Thank you so much. I just succeeded. One must click on the first line. And then click on read, then on accept.

The other missing link was the click on the icon for the package queue.

Hi,

Some weeks later I try to install the newest updates. The Spritz program crashes and forecasts an error-txt-file on desktop (default). But there is no file Spritz-py-Fehlerbericht.txt to be found.

Which would be the right way to manage the last updates?

I would reccomend using equo to update entropy (and spritz) to the latest versions.
