I must have used Gparted on the 4600+ install so we see what will happen there --->>>
It may even mean a new install on the 5000 desky

Let us know how the laptop goes. For the most part the laptop owners have pretty good luck. Two issues I see the greatest with laptop owners is the graphics and network cards.

On reflection I mainly use Gparted from a cd of it when I need to reinstall XP and on a new install of Sabayon etc

PCLinuxOS 2008 Minime finds them no problem so hopefully Sabayon will too

I will wrestle with the timing a little longer

Right Now Sabayon/Lappy delayed --->>>OOPS the Compaq which is new XP Home (still to activate 22days) and PCLinuxOS 2007 is in a strange loop--->>>

It boots into Compaq Screen then Drub (Linux) and when I go to boot into XP it goes through the whole loop again again and again hehehe YET I can STILL use PCLinuxOS +++ there is NO Livecd that will boot ie:- Cparted Supergrub, PCLinux -

I really have no inclination of going through another XP home install on Lappy with Minime on there and repoeat the same loop as I have on the Compaq because Lapp is going to be Sabayon on totally

Oh well a little rest and visit with family might help clear the cobwebs

I am having the same problem, in a way, except that that there is a popup saying "Please wait...take a little break." I can't get to process queue. Is it calculating dependencies or frozen? Guess I will wait and see. I still love Sabayon, but it's a little rough on a noob.
