Our crew, is happy to announce the immediate availability of E17, XFCE, LXDE, SpinBase/OpenVZ, ServerBase Sabayon 5.4 "Spins" built on top of Sabayon "SpinBase" ISO images.
Under the "Experimental Spins" umbrella, the Sabayon developers are going to experiment new Stable Releases with different package compositions.
Just like the other regular Sabayon releases, these "Experimental Spins" are also daily built by our Build Servers and available in our mirrors inside the "iso/daily" directory.
The E17 Spin contains the famous, stable-releases-are-for-n00bs, often compared to Duke Nukem Forever, Enlightenment 17 Desktop Environment.
XFCE and LXDE contain, surprise surprise, the respective Desktop Environments, while SpinBase/OpenVZ contains, guess what, an OpenVZ template ready to go!
Last but not least, ServerBase is our first public ISO image, based on SpinBase, powered by a server-oriented Linux kernel.
