I don't automount...
I mount manually in every case of removable medias (USB-memory stick, USB ext. disk...).
I handle all medias manually, mount them, unmount them in Dolphin.
Memory sticks and 500GByte jfs disk (also another one ext. disk with NTFS) can be unmounted without errors,
but 1TByte ext. disk can NOT be unmounted (with activated Nepomuk).
By the way, do you have a big (USB3) ext. hdd with 1TByte or more? Did you try mount and unmount?
I mean, without changing any settings, just when run from Live system or just after fresh install on your internal disk.

Yes I have big etx. hdd (not usb 3.0) . sometimes managed 2 or 3 external hdd (1TB-2TB). but i don't have this problem.

Nempomuk service is set to index /home folder only.

I've just reactivated Nepomuk.
Then I checked settings for Indexing directories. It is /home also.
And this I never changed before, I assume, this is default setting.
And I also checked, that removable medias are excluded.

Maybe there is a problem in USB3. That is the only difference I see to you.

Ciao Sabayonino...
I just found another website with a possible solution for my problem.
I can't still unmount my 1TByte ext. disk with dolphin itself,
but I can open a konsole (cli) as root and submit a:
Code: Select all
umount -l /media/Toshiba-1TB-jfs/

No error messages appear. And a check in Dolphin confirms, that my removable disk is no more mounted.

Thank you very much for your replies and support.

man "umount"
-l Lazy unmount. Detach the filesystem from the filesystem hierarchy now, and cleanup all references to the filesystem as soon as it is not busy anymore. (Requires kernel 2.4.11 or later.)

I don't know

KDE bug tracking could explain the situation
