man misusing less after 2012/11/12 update

running man man on sabayon kde i686:

$ man man
There is no -l option ("less --help" for help)
-  (press RETURN)

Is this a problem I can fix or is it a packaging problem? If the latter, can anyone tell me how to roll back a package? (and which package, less or man?) I can't find out how in the equo --help.

I could really use some help, man is where I get most of my C documentation, which I need for my classes. I don't always have internet access.

I think you just need to wait for a fix. The bug is well-known and a quick search on the internet shows that most distros are affected (eg: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-bugs ... 01021.html). I'm also waiting for upstream to come up with a fix.

It affected me too. It `s annoying, but hasn` t anyone noticed that you can read the doc by pressing the left arrow?
