Trashcan is full and cant empty it? [Solved]

Hi All,

My trash can is full and I am unable to empty it.

"The trash has reached its maximum size!
Cleanup the trash manually."

I am using kde 4.9.2 with kernel 3.5.7. This did happen before, but I cant remember how I fixed it....

Can anyone help, I have searched this forum but nothing seems to work.

I remembered and did

rm local/share/trash
