Issue with w3af and Python SOAPpy

Postby ShadowCat8 » Sat Jun 23, 2012 1:57

Greetings,

Was trying to run w3af_gui and got this message:
Code: Select all
tech7 ~ # w3af_gui
w3af is officially supported under Python 2.6
Your python installation needs the following packages:
    SOAPpy

On debian based systems:
    sudo apt-get install python-soappy

tech7 ~ # equo search soappy

Now, I didn't have Python 2.6 installed when I first installed, but I installed it afterwards and reinstalled both soappy and w3af after that and still get the above message.

Any thoughts? TIA.
