Some libs are emtpy - how to fix?

Postby reitermaniac » Sun May 13, 2012 10:16

Hi,

Yesterday after a equo upgrade process I noticed some "libs empty" Errors after installing some packages:

Code: Select all
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libpyglib-gi-2.0-python.so.0 is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libppl.so.10.0.0 is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libppl.so is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libpyglib-gi-2.0-python.so.0.0.0 is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libppl.so.10 is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib64/libpyglib-gi-2.0-python.so is empty, not checked

I also can't run every gtk python application anymore.

Can anybody tell me which libs/packages I have to reinstall to fix it?

thx!

would try
Code: Select all
equo deptest && equo libtest

but maybe your problem is the same as described here: LECTORI SALUTEM: Missing gtk+ icons/font render problems?

Which version of SL is installed?
How long since your last update?

If it's been a while & you are running an old version of entropy, update that before updating the system:

Code: Select all
# equo install entropy equo --relaxed

any other hints?

I would try to (re)install dev-python/pygobject-base and dev-libs/ppl then…
