However when I use amcap to test my setup it will tell me:

The v4l headers were not available at compile time,
so video capture support is not available.
However, when I check the USE flags it tells me that it was compiled with the v4l flag on.
Of course I have tested the camera using Kopete where it works without a problem.
I would be interested to know if this is a general problem with this package version, and any suggestions would be most helpful.
