Teamviewer not working after update [Solved]

Hi

I was using Teamviewer for a month. Worked quite well.
The latest update (SL7 kde 64) included Wine 1.3.37

After the update Teamviewer and another prgram (Rosetta Stone) do not work anymore.

Anybody else having probs with wine or those programs and have a solution?

Hi,

Yes for me the same here, tried it with Intel, Nvidia and AMD Gfx and also deleted xorg.conf and the .wine in my homefolder.
But nothing works

Ok,

this really is a winebug, I downloaded the latest teamviewer from here http://www.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_linux.tar.gz

Then I extracted it and did a backup of the
Code: Select all
/opt/teamviewer
folder.
After this I put all the new files from the extracted folder
Code: Select all
teamviewer7/profile/drive_c/Program Files/TeamViewer/Version7/

into this folder.
After starting I at least could read the license agreement (which was before already black blanked), but after accepting I reached a partly blanked screen.
So I reverted all I've done.
And for now I use the downloaded Version, there is a wrapper within
Code: Select all
./.tvscript/teamviewer
and it starts with its own wine enviroment.
This helps until wine in Sabayon is fixed again.

For Teamviewer I don't use the one in entropy, download http://www.teamviewer.com/download/vers ... nux.tar.gz & unzip to your bin dir. Run the teamviewer symlink & it'll generate a link you can use on your desktop or wherever. It used a bundled wine. I still use v6 as I connect regularly to a user with Suse running v6 & didn't want to risk updating to v7 when v6 works just fine.

Today's update fixed the problem!
(wine 1.4 rc2)
