Sabayon 5.4 and kernel source/header.

Hi,
I installed few days ago Sabayon 5.4 (don't ask me why i installed that old version ), but i cannot find nowhere the kernel source/headers (kernel installed is 2.6.35-sabayon). I need it. Where i can fount it? Or, what real kernel version is it?

Hi francescodl,

The oldest sources is sabayon-sources-2.6.36-r1, so you should do a kernel switch to this version and then you have it.
But I don't get it, why you use this old Version.

I tryed to install a new kernel using Sulfur. I got always the same message about missing dependencies (package masked or package not found): >=gnome-base/gnome-settings-daemon-3.1.4[colord(+)]. My Gnome version is 2.30.X.
Is there somewhere an old ebuild for that kernel source (2.6.35-sabayon) or a place where to download the source by myself?

You should always choose the newest version if you install a Linux system.

Anyway i think this is the link to the source of the 2.6.36 kernel :
