Digikam 2.0

Since upgrading to 2.0, digikam crashes every time I attempt to download images -- in fact, it crashes any time it tries to access my canon camera. It auto detects it as a USB PTP type.

Dolphin shows it OK and I can download the images OK so I'm not stuffed.

I cannot get it to work with the LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libusb.so digikam work around. Constantly says cannot load libusb.so. It's on the system OK and I have tried the lib32 and lib64 directories and still no joy.

I'm aware of the following bugs posted.

Any suggestions on how to solve it or on how to downgrade please.
