Nautilus takes time to open

Nautilus takes time to open

As the title says, nautilus takes a long time to open, about 25 seconds. This problem appeared after the update to GNOME 3. How can I speed it up?

I'm experiencing the same issue - nautilus starts very slowly (nothing happens for some 20 sec.) but processor usage is minimal...
I've installed all recent updates.
I'm using sabayon on 32bit laptop (x86).
