Pulseaudio Problem

Postby edbgon » Sat Mar 15, 2008 16:04

Hello, I've recently installed pulseaudio by means of equo. However, when attempting to run it, I get the following error.

Code: Select all
pulseaudio: pulsecore/mutex-posix.c:98: pa_mutex_unlock: Assertion `pthread_mutex_unlock(&m->mutex) == 0' failed.
Aborted

Searching the net reveals that libtool needs to be at least 1.5.24

Code: Select all
# equo install libtool --ask
>>  @@ These are the chosen packages:
>>    # (1/1) sys-devel/libtool-1.5.24 >>> Sabayon Linux Official Repository
>>      Versioning:      1.5.24 / NoTag / 2 ===> 1.5.24 / NoTag / 2
>>      Action:          Reinstall

I'm all out of ideas... What do I do? I've tried manually compiling a package and emerging with the same result.

I am having the exact same issue listed above, I've also tried compiling after equo install produced this error to find that even after compiling the same error happens. If anyone has ideas it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im kind of confused cause my box already has that version of libtool, and judging by the equo output you pasted, you do as well
