useing vm ware/SL3.4?

Good Afternoon,
First time....... Received Sabayon3.4 from Linux Mag, inserted into dvd player, (using Windows IE7), was prompted to install VM Ware, did so (my option), after all ready to observe
Sl (Vm Ware operable,Cd operable,) I receive text message 'can not find operating system,that would be Sabayon OS,. I suppose I could boot the live CD, but Iwanted to try using
Virtual Machine. Any dos or donts? Thank You in advance....Rich

If you have an external drive, the VMware config file is not configured to detect it (or will detect it and not the onboard drive). Either put the DVD/CD in anther drive, or try removing one of the drives. If that's not your problem then you may need a slightly older version of VMware player. Is this the mini or 3.4f? Also, can we have the DVD/CD drive specs?
