LiVES - video editing

Any one else use this or do video editing?

I installed it and having this problem.

JACK compiled with System V SHM support.
cannot create /var/run/jack/jack-1000 directory (Permission denied)

cannot create server sockets
cannot create engine

You can either as root do it and it should work if not manually create the folder and try again then check /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab as likely some permission is set incorrectly for the root partition.
