Has anybody got voice chat to work with kopete and jabber?

Kopete is supposed to have libjingle implemented from what I read. libjingle is the specification used by google for their google talk voice chatting, and they recently opened it up.

I tried to emerge kopete with the jingle use flag, and it installed. So I tried calling other google talk users, and it does seem to connect, but we cannot hear each other. Has anybody got this to work? if so, how?
