hi i am running sabayon 3.4fdvd version.
and my question is as simple and stupid as this:
"how do i apply the emerald theme manager's themes to my desktop?"

Right-click on the Compiz Fusion icon in the top Panel, select Emerald Theme Manager and a window will open showing the various themes. Click on a theme you like and then click on Quit.

compiz fusion icon is not there...

Does not bode well. Do you have the Compiz Fusion 3D desktop?
K Menu > Applications > Settings > Emerald Theme Manager
