webfootie anyone? (Not some kind of foot fetish)

Postby thewho443 » Fri Nov 16, 2007 6:19

Being a yank sure does make it hard on a football fan. I found a website called webfootie.com that webcasts live games. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting this site to work on Sabayon before I drop 14 pounds to get on the site.

Personally I use http://www.football4less.com/ (its free) , you just need to sign up to the forums to see the live games links. Obviously most of the software they use is for windows, but there is a sopcast client available for linux. Then you can use any linux media player that supports streaming mplayer/vlc etc.

On the whole it works very well.

I've read that tvants will work via wine, personally I haven't had any success with that tho.
“I just finished compiling glibc and now it says there is a new update available? Arrgh! It never ends!!”
