issues with bluetooth and bluetooth headphones

Postby Darksurf » Wed Oct 17, 2007 3:09

I've tried many different bluetooth applications, including kdebluetooth, blueman, and even gbtsco. I've been trying to get my bluetooth headphones working (Motorola HT820). I've tried connecting, but it connects for a second and then disconnects. I can't get my bluetooth headphones to work. I've even thought maybe it was just my headphones so I tried some Dell bluetooth headphones, and I got the same response. I cannot connect bluetooth headphones/microphones to my computer. Please Help.

I have a IOGear GBU221 USB 2.0 bluetooth adapter(a.k.a. BCM2045A, its a broadcom chip) I can pair up with phones and stuff, but not with my headphones. Can anyone help me?

I forgot the leave the info that there is a built-in microphone and would possibly like for that to work
as I use skype and this is one of the reasons I bought these headphones.

I tried it again with kdebluetooth once again and recieved an error
"Failed to create input device for Motorola HT820!"
