emerge fails rt61 [Solved]

Postby cyrwyn » Sun Oct 14, 2007 20:52

I need to build this module to get my Ralink wireless working. It will not work with the rt61pci version from Ralink, but usually the rt61 from serialmonkey.com will work. That is the one I'm using on PCLOS 2007 and is the default built into its kernels. Anyone got a clue why this won't build? Perhaps I should get the latest SVN snapshot and try it by hand.

Call stack:
* ebuild.sh, line 1687: Called dyn_compile
* ebuild.sh, line 1025: Called qa_call 'src_compile'
* ebuild.sh, line 44: Called src_compile
* rt61-1.1.0_beta2.ebuild, line 35: Called linux-mod_src_compile
* linux-mod.eclass, line 518: Called die
* The specific snippet of code:
* emake HOSTCC="$(tc-getBUILD_CC)" CC="$(get-KERNEL_CC)" LDFLAGS="$(get_abi_LDFLAGS)" \
* ${BUILD_FIXES} ${BUILD_PARAMS} ${BUILD_TARGETS} \
* || die "Unable to make ${BUILD_FIXES} ${BUILD_PARAMS} ${BUILD_TARGETS}."
* The die message:
* Unable to make KERNDIR=/usr/src/linux KERNOUT=/lib/modules/2.6.22-sabayon/build clean module.

I got the latest CVS from serialmonkey, released today, it compled and installed and works just fine. I'm submitting this now by my new wireless link.
