xkeyboard layout problem [Solved]

Hi,

After doing some updates on my system i experience now problems with my keyboard

I use a french keyboard (104 keys, variant latin9)

the icon of Kxkb in the task bar now display "err" and if i type this comand in a terminal i get an errror

nico@access-dev1 ~ $ setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout fr -variant latin9
Error loading new keyboard description

my keyboard layout is broken and i cant type a lot of specials characters.

i checked /usr/share/X11/symbols/pc/fr and the file is ok.
I already try to unmerge/emerge xkbdata but the problem still remain the same

how can i fix this ?

i fixed this, i removed xkbdata and install xkeyboard-config

things are now ok
